This client wanted simple, functional automation so that shading, heating and lighting could take care of itself throughout this incredible modern property by architect Jonathan Henry.
The first of two projects for this client, the brief was to create an automated home which was as functional and smart as it was refined and elegant to adjoin their luxury boutique hotel The Vices York
This beautiful luxury hotel comprising of three suites, occupies what was once a Victorian Police Station in York and opened early 2022. The clients had a clear vision for what they wanted to achieve in terms of the functionality and aesthetics and wanted automation to integrate seamlessly with the Italian-influenced design and the original features of the property.
For these clients, having to remind their children to turn lights off and a love for music and entertaining family and friends were initially what sparked an interest in automating their cow barn conversion project.
