Cow shed conversion

For these clients, having to remind their children to turn lights off and a love for music and entertaining family and friends were initially what sparked an interest in automating their cow barn conversion project. 

 

After our initial consultation, we created a proposal including automated heating, shading, and security and the provision for the future addition of extra shading and video everywhere. 

 

We added the use of colour and bespoke lighting design in communal areas to give the project the added wow factor. 

 

 

Lighting:

• Loxone controlled throughout.

• 8 dimmable circuits.

• 22 non dimmable fixtures supplied by client.

• 50 metres of RGBW LED strips by Hi-line Lighting

• AllLED cube lights on outside of house.

• 10 Loxone RGBW spots

• Motion sensors in every room

• Loxone Touch switches in all bedroom, and main living spaces

 

Heating:

• Full house underfloor heating from ground source automated with Loxone.

• Music everywhere:

• 8 zones of audio with the Loxone audioserver

• Sonance ceiling speakers throughout.

 

Shading

• 4 Somfy blinds integrated with Loxone and pre-cabling for shading whole house to be added in future.

• Security

• Integrated Loxone alarm system using motion sensors and door contacts.

 

 

Future Wiring

• Pre-cabling for full video distribution in every bedroom.

• Pre-cabling for Doorbird to be installed in future.
